Why We Don’t Pursue Back Surgeries
Every day hospitals preform many different types of surgeries. Out of every type of surgery there is, one really stands out. Back Surgery. Having back surgery involves a lot of associated risks that can be caused by the surgery itself. As a patient getting back surgery you must be aware of possible risks that come with it. Our office does not pursue this because of all those associated risks.
Risks Of Back Surgery
- Reaction to anesthesia or other drugs.
- Bleeding.
- Infection.
- Blood clots, for instance in your legs or lungs.
- Heart attack.
- Stroke.
- Herniated disc.
- Nerve damage, which can lead to weakness, paralysis, pain, sexual dysfunction, or loss of bowel of bladder control.
Unfortunately this happens to many people after receiving a major surgery like this. This leaves most people helpless and feeling like there is nothing to be done. Most people mistake these risks as being caused by the doctor, so they try to file a claim on them. This is not the case and because they are pre- associated risks of back surgery there is nothing for me as an attorney to pursue.
Have you suffered another type of injury or disability due to surgery malpractice and have decided to take action? Does a family member need help filing medical negligence claims? Contact my offices immediately.
